Ether.fi (ETHFI) is the governance token of ether.fi, a platform that started as a liquid staking protocol for Ethereum and has grown into what it calls a crypto neobank. Users can stake ether and receive eETH or weETH, tokens that earn staking rewards while still being usable in DeFi.
Beyond staking, ether.fi offers automated yield vaults, a crypto credit card and payment features, so users can earn on their crypto and spend it in daily life from one app. Its non-custodial design means users keep control of their assets.
ETHFI holders vote on the protocol's direction and can stake their tokens to share in platform rewards. Part of the protocol's revenue has been used to buy back ETHFI. Ether.fi is one of the largest liquid restaking protocols on Ethereum.
