KuCoin Token (KCS) is the native token of KuCoin, a large global cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2017. Holding KCS gives users discounts on trading fees and access to special events, token launches and other benefits on the platform.
KuCoin shares part of its trading fee revenue with KCS holders through a daily bonus program, and it has run regular buyback and burn programs to reduce the token supply over time. KCS is also the gas token of KCC, an EVM-compatible blockchain linked to KuCoin.
Like other exchange tokens, KCS's value is closely tied to the performance of the KuCoin exchange and the number of people trading there.
