Tantæne animis cœlestibus iræ. — Anger

"Anyone can become angry, that is easy...but to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose, and in the right way... this is not easy."

For the first; there is no other way but to meditate and ruminate well upon the effects of anger, how it troubles mans life. And the best time to do this, is to look back upon anger when the fit is thoroughly over. Seneca saith well, That anger is like ruin, which breaks itself upon that it falls."
