Adolf Leo Oppenheim

Adolf Leo Oppenheim was an Austrian-American Assyriologist. He was editor-in-charge of the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary of the Oriental Institute from 1955 to 1974 and the John A. Wilson Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of Chicago.
