"Sawyer, you listen to me, and you listen hard. Two hundred people, two hundred jobs, two hundred thousand dollars, five weeks of grind and blood and sweat depend upon you. Its the lives of all these people whove worked with you. Youve got to go on, and youve got to give and give and give. Theyve got to like you. Got to. Do you understand? You cant fall down. You cant because your futures in it, my future and everything all of us have is staked on you. All right, now Im through, but you keep your feet on the ground and your head on those shoulders of yours and go out, and Sawyer, youre going out a youngster but youve got to come back a star!"

"All right, now, everybody. Quiet, and listen to me. Tomorrow morning, were gonna start a show. Were gonna rehearse for five weeks and were gonna open on scheduled time. [He brandishes his cigarette] - And I mean scheduled time. Youre gonna work and sweat and work some more. Youre gonna work days and youre gonna work nights. And youre gonna work between time when I think you need it. Youre gonna dance until your feet fall off and youre not able to stand up any longer. BUT five weeks from now, were going to have a show! Now, some of you people have been with me before. You know its gonna be a tough grind. Its gonna be the toughest five weeks that you ever lived through. Do you all get that? Now anybody who doesnt think hes gonna like it had better quit right now. What do I hear? Nobody? Good. Then thats settled. We start tomorrow morning."
