Gilbert Blaize Rego was an Indian Prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was ordained as a priest at 32 years of age in 1953, and he served for 18 years before being ordained as a bishop of the Diocese of Shimla-Chandigarh, India at age 50, in 1971.
