The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz is a 2014 American biographical documentary film about Aaron Swartz written, directed, and produced by Brian Knappenberger. The film premiered in the US Documentary Competition program category at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2014.

I told them that this thing that they were prosecuting wasnt a crime. I told them that they were on the wrong side of history; I used that phrase: I said, "Youre on the wrong side of history." And they looked bored. They didnt even look angry, just bored. And it began to occur to me that we werent having the same conversation."
